Report output rounding up numbers more than 15 digits (Eg. Invoice number)



Encountering precision problems in Excel is a common frustration. This issue happens because Excel tends to round off digits beyond 15 digits. 

Refer the video below - 


As we can see 10000231170000999 gets converted into 10000231170000900

To solve this issue, we need to adjust the format of the affected column in our template. In our case its Invoice Number.

1) Open the Report Template > Select the Invoice number field. 

2) Navigate to Home > Number > Select 'Text' from dropdown.
